ROLE PURPOSE
The Warehouse Officer is responsible for the accurate inventory recording and associated tasks, receiving, picking and dispatch of all goods.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Possesses the knowledge and skill to understand the SOP requirements of all roles within the warehouse as a whole
- Using required systems and tools, accurately process customer orders in a timely manner in line with Winc and the Customer’s requirements
- Understands and applies principles of problem solving within the warehouse as a whole
- Plays an active responsible role in helping to exceed customer expectations
- Package orders appropriately to minimise waste, cartons, and damages as well as be accountable for Quality and Accuracy of tasks undertaken
- Conduct Cycle Counting
- Monitoring stock levels
- Generate and maintain inventory reports
- Maintain accurate stock levels and adjustments within Delegation of Authority
- Locate and setup SKUS and maintain product volumetrics
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
- Must have an MHE Licence – LF & LO (preferred)
- Excellent team player
- Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised to practices, processes and procedures
- Experience in a similar role
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for managing inventory discrepancies.
- Experience with warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal teams.
- Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or inventory control is highly desirable.
- Experience in SAP
- Demonstrates a positive attitude towards Winc values
