ROLE PURPOSE

A Textbook Sales Specialist is responsible for promoting, selling, and supporting educational textbooks and digital learning resources to schools. The role blends sales, relationship management, and curriculum knowledge, working closely with our Account Managers and Product Manager and educators to ensure learning materials align with Australian curricula (VCE, HSC, QCE, etc.).

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

• Revenue & Margin Growth: Achieve national revenue targets by partnering with account managers and/ or working independently to identify and close pipeline opportunities.

• Technical Expertise: Provide technical knowledge and expertise to the sales team and schools, helping to explain complex products and solutions in a clear and compelling manner.

• Sales Proposals: Preparing proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations that effectively showcase the company's offerings.

• Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor to understand their needs and recommend appropriate solutions.

• Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging trends to provide insights that inform sales strategies.

• Product Training: Conduct training sessions for sales account managers and clients to ensure a thorough understanding of product features and benefits.
