ROLE PURPOSE

 

The Sales Specialist, Furniture partners with the broader sales team to provide technical expertise and insights for customers. Focus on driving revenue and margin growth through new business and expanding share of wallet.

 

The successful candidate will play an integral role within their state sales team, leveraging solution-selling techniques, preferably from a B2B environment, alongside strong technical knowledge of commercial furniture products.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

  • Revenue & Margin Growth: Achieve individual and state revenue targets by identifying and closing existing Commercial Furniture, and Winc sales pipeline opportunities.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical knowledge and expertise from the Commercial Furniture Industry to the sales team and clients, helping to explain complex products and solutions in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Sales Proposals: Preparing proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations that effectively showcase the company's offerings.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor to understand their needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to provide insights that inform sales strategies.
  • Product Training: Conduct training sessions for sales account managers and clients to ensure a thorough understanding of product features and benefits.
  • Complete all Health, Safety, and Environmental training (HSE) and demonstrate an ongoing commitment to the Winc HSE plan, policy, and processes.

  • Sales Acumen: Proven track record of supporting sales teams and contributing to revenue growth.

  • Customer-focused: Strong customer service skills and the ability to build lasting relationships.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse market trends, customer needs, and sales data to inform decision-making.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Pipeline Mgt: Proven track record in building and converting sales pipeline.
