ROLE PURPOSE
The Senior Account Manager plays a pivotal role in delivering tailored solutions and strategic insights to a diverse portfolio of clients. This position is dedicated to fostering strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, and driving business growth through value-driven partnerships. By understanding client needs, market trends, and business challenges, the Senior Account Manager helps Winc customers create better workplaces and achieve greater efficiency.
Based at Perth Airport, this role focuses on managing and expanding key client relationships by providing on-the-ground support, strengthening partnerships, and delivering exceptional service.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Manage contract performance, focusing on customer retention and profitability
- Tailor customer engagement strategies to align with overall business goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key contacts within client organisations
- Stay up to date with industry trends, products, systems, and Winc’s unique offerings
- Oversee the full sales process and manage the customer relationship from start to finish
- Increase customer spend by expanding catogories within your assigned territory
- Complete all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) training and consistently follow Winc’s HSE policies and procedures
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
- Previous B2B experience and industry knowledge are advantageous
- Understanding of and experience with tender processes
- Experience in managing contracts
- Proven ability to meet and exceed deadlines in line with business requirements
- Strong track record of achieving sales targets
- Well-developed communication skills with the ability to negotiate and resolve issues with customers, team members, and stakeholders
- Proficiency in Excel, SAP, Salesforce, and Genesys (moderate to high skill level)
- Ability to analyse customer financial data, SAP-generated reports, contract models, and strategic pricing tools to develop effective customer solutions
- Advanced consultative selling skills
- A mindset characterised by drive, confidence, accountability, resilience, and adaptability
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
