ROLE PURPOSE

Following an internal promotion, we are seeking a commercially minded and technically capable Senior Commercial Analyst to support data-led decision-making across our Sales and Commercial functions.

As a key member of the Commercial Analytics team, reporting to the Commercial Analytics Manager, this role is suited to an experienced analyst who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, improving reporting processes, and uncovering actionable insights that drive business performance.

You will play an important role in enhancing sales analytics capability, improving reporting accuracy, and supporting commercial initiatives through data analysis and modelling.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Commercial & Sales Performance

• Maintain and enhance sales and commercial reporting.
• Analyse revenue, margin and sales trends to identify risks and opportunities.
• Deliver insights to Sales leadership and support reporting automation.

Advanced Sales Analytics

• Develop sales analytics models across acquisition, retention, pricing and trends.
• Build and optimise data models using SQL and support Python/Databricks workflows.

Budgeting & Forecasting Support

• Assist with budgeting, incentive calculations and forecasting.
• Support scenario modelling and forward-looking insights.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner with Sales, Finance and Operations to deliver clear, actionable insights.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Strong SQL skills, including complex joins, aggregations, and data transformation.
• 4+ years’ experience in commercial or sales analytics.
• Working knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation.
• Experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks or similar.
• Experience using ERP or CRM systems (e.g., SAP or Salesforce).
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate insights into business outcomes.
• Clear communication skills, with a proactive mindset and strong attention to detail.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in FMCG, distribution, wholesale, or multi-channel sales environments.
• Exposure to forecasting or predictive modelling.
• Experience improving reporting automation and dashboards.
