ROLE PURPOSE
The Pricing Analyst – Project role sits within our Pricing Development and Analytics team. This team specialises in project management, advanced analytics, and tool development to drive efficiency and value for our stakeholders. In this role, you will:
- Support key business projects across multiple functions.
- Develop new pricing tools and advanced data analytics models.
- Provide stakeholders with analytical insights and administrative support using advanced methodologies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement engine that powers our pricing capability.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Identify and deliver profit improvement opportunities through robust profit modelling and analysis.
- Analyse customer behaviours, pricing trends, and margin performance to uncover actionable insights.
- Develop and present pricing recommendations in collaboration with Pricing Managers.
- Support commercial decision-making by conducting targeted data analysis and ad-hoc reporting.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the enterprise to deliver pricing and business improvement projects.
- Maintain high accuracy and integrity of pricing-related data and processes.
- Assist in commercial analysis for various business initiatives.
- Provide guidance and development support to Pricing team members.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
- Minimum 4 years of business or commercial experience, ideally within pricing, analytics, or finance.
- Strong background in pricing strategy, commercial analysis, and margin/profitability management.
- Advanced analytical and technical problem-solving skills, including process and data modelling.
- High proficiency in MS Excel (including advanced functions) and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with large and complex datasets.
- Proficiency in PowerPivot and Tabular data modelling.
- Knowledge of SQL and Power BI is highly regarded.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
- Advanced negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or Accounting preferred.
