ROLE PURPOSE

 

The National Furniture Specialist - Sales Delivery plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth through the execution of strategic sales initiatives, empowering state-based teams, and embedding consistent, high-performing sales processes.

Working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and key internal stakeholders, this role is focused on delivering commercial outcomes, strengthening customer satisfaction, and ensuring alignment to national business objectives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

  • Sales Strategy Execution: Implement and execute sales strategies and initiatives to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Sales Growth:
    • Build joint sales opportunity with key vendor partners and take to market. 
    • Identify large competitor new business or SOW deals/contracts and led the sales process with relevant team. 
  • Marketing Campaigns: Work with Marketing to develop campaigns to raise awareness of Winc Specialist services, supporting sales growth.
  • Tender and Proposal Support: Manage and lead the tender and proposal process for qualified and agreed opportunities.
  • Post Sales Process Optimisation: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Product Development:  Identify new product offerings that will lead to sales growth and create competitive advantage.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, preparing regular reports for senior management to inform decision-making.
  • Inventory Management: Design, implement and oversee an Inventory Management Program that ensures compliance with Winc Finance Conversion (where applicable), SLOBES and Replenishment, reporting to Finance monthly
  • Training and Development: Work with HR/Employee Experience to develop and deliver sales training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment: Complete all Health, Safety, and Environmental training (HSE) and demonstrate an ongoing commitment to the Winc HSE plan, policy, and processes.  

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

 

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a sales or sales support role within a B2B environment.
  • Strong understanding of technical products and the ability to communicate campaigns that drive growth.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and strategies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Can develop strong relationships with business leaders to deliver shared sales objectives.
  • Strong business acumen and customer-centric mindset.
