ROLE PURPOSE

 

As our next Estimation Coordinator (Design Specialist) you will be preparing quotes and estimations are created to customers' requirements. You will provide furniture product advice to our sales team and build relationships with Business Interiors supply partners

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

  • Understand customer design ideas, liaise with the sales and project team to create a furniture solution to meet their requirements and budget
  • Prepare competitive estimates, quotes and proposals for clients, including Mood & Inspiration presentations.
  • Manage multiple projects at any one time
  • Liaise with suppliers sourcing products to suit the customer design briefs
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and competitive pricing to offer the best solutions to customers.
  • Liaise with Project Management team to ensure orders are delivered to plan and customers expectations.

  • Customer centric, solutions focused.  Accountability for the end-to-end result – from quoting through to delivery of the project.
  • Exceptional time management skills, ability to handle multiple and competing priorities with a high attention to detail.
  • Quoting and proposal preparation experience will be highly regarded, as well as basic understanding of pricing concepts.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, and verbal and written communication skills (with both internal and external stakeholders)
  • Working knowledge of MS Office –  Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook
  • Experience in Commercial Furniture, Construction and/or Commercial Fit Outs is highly regarded but not essential.
  • Interest in design and/or Design background will be highly regarded – Interior Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, 2D CAD experience etc.
