ROLE PURPOSE

 

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining customer office equipment to a high standard, ensuring reliable performance and minimal downtime. Reporting to the MPS Service Team Leader, you will deliver exceptional customer service and technical support, contributing to customer satisfaction and retention across our Managed Print Services (MPS) customer base.

Based in Dubbo, this role also requires regular travel to surrounding regional locations to support customer service requirements.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

  • Manage customer service requests, including diagnosing machine faults, repairing equipment, and conducting final inspections and testing.
  • Perform onsite installation of equipment, network configuration, and end-user training.
  • Provide remote support to the IT Tech team and Managed Services customers.
  • Support Sales teams with both pre- and post-sales technical assistance.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction while meeting company targets for call productivity, response times, and parts management.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels of parts and support equipment required to perform the role effectively.
  • Complete all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) training and demonstrate ongoing commitment to Winc’s HSE policies, procedures, and standards.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

 

  • Certificate or qualification in Technology or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a copier/service technician
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid knowledge of computer and print management software, including PaperCut, UniFlow, and Microsoft 365
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving abilities
